Beginner/Intermediate: Developing “core Skills” Improving the Individual.
Full Day Camps introduce players to the "World's #1 Soccer Skills Teaching Method" in a structured 5 day program which maximizes player development. Players train in a fun but challenging learning environment that emphasizes ball mastery, individual moves, small sided play, group play and finishing. The curriculum is challenging and is developed for players to master basic skills and gradually move into more difficult skills, but also emphasizes creativity and spontaneity. The camps focus on teaching the individual skills indispensable for success in soccer. Proper fundamental skills are taught as well as advanced skills that make playing fun and encourage players to practice on their own. Emphasis is placed on individual skill development and basic moves with the goal of developing confidence on the ball. Beginning “move sets” are taught and games are played to practice the moves in a method that starts with no pressure and slowly adds the pressure of time and/or space restrictions. Passive defensive pressure is then added and by the end of the first morning, players are performing moves under full defensive pressure to goal. First touch is a major theme in Ball Mastery sessions.
Full Day: All groups play in our “World Cup” competition with teams they stay with throughout the week. This is a round robin competition of small-sided games. Results are recorded each day and a finals competition is held on Friday. Group champions are recognized at our award ceremony on Friday. Plus they will have a shooting and Agility competition.
